Since Replouf never answered any emails I have sent to him, can someone tell me if OLL can be used to check archives with more than one file inside (eg a 3 disk game) or an archive of Ngage files for one game?

I can see no DAT that shows how and replouf won't provide details of HOW the XML is used....

1 "rom file" in 1 archive, but you can also have screenshots, nfos in the archive.

It would be a nice addition to Offline List
Merging region duplicates of a rom in 1 archive file saves much space
I see 3 cases that could handle this :
1) When checking the files, check all files in the archive and not only the first find
2) When renaming the files, give the archive a name like Merged_<GameName> if all the files in the archive are duplicates of the same game, Merged_<GenericName> oterwise
3) When adding roms from files, keep together duplicate files

And many thanks to Replouf for doing this great tool !:)

if you're interested in region dupe merging, you could have a look to this topic on advanscene (http://www.advanscene.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=279) or this one on pocketheaven (http://boards.pocketheaven.com/viewtopic.php?t=4935)... maybe it'll end up with something.

But for sure it would be great if it is also included in Offline List.
I don't use it as for know, but I think that it is already possible to filter the region dupe when displaying the collection, while it is not possible to merge the collection when renaming it. If that could be done, that could be really great as OfflineList handle 7z compression and resulting collection would benefit from merge for space saving...

Are all the OL features described somewhere ? (OK I can guess them from the changelogs on website...)

I don't think it will be implemented because I already get the idea to use the solid archive capability of 7-zip (as does Winrar) and to use it with the duplicate capability of OfflineList.
Nobody involved in OfflineList seems to care about that, or maybe at the time when the 7-Zip dll was implemented they didn't want to work again.

I also talked about optimising the PNG, it could simply cut the screenshot size by half. And it only concern who take the screenshot but no one care.
